Workshop Overview:

The workshop is suitable for experienced teachers who wish to improve their delivery of the experimental programme. The experimental programme is a vital element of the DP chemistry course. This workshop supports participants in the development of a broad and structured experimental programme that provides opportunities for students to develop the necessary skills for success in the full range of possible types of scientific investigation. Resources for all aspects of the experimental programme will be explored, including ethical and safety issues and the responsibilities of the stakeholders. Participants will examine various student samples of the scientific investigation to develop a clear understanding of the application of the internal assessment criteria.
