IB authorised professional development workshops
IBSCA is authorised by the IB to deliver its professional development workshops. Our popular and trusted workshops offer IB educators a professional experience where they can hone their skills, make connections, and deepen their knowledge. For the 2021 / 2022 academic year, our workshops will be delivered via our virtual learning platform, Communities. We look forward to delivering face-to-face workshops alongside our virtual workshops beginning in the 2022 / 2023 academic year. IBSCA member schools receive a discount on IB authorised workshops booked with us.
Benefits of an IBSCA Workshop
-
Experience.
IBSCA has been delivering IB authorised workshops for more than a decade and has developed a reputation as a trusted provider. Each workshop is delivered by an experienced workshop leader who provides top-tier instruction and guidance to our delegates.
-
Structure.
Our workshops focus on putting the programme into practice and are delivered at three experience levels - Category 1, Category 2, and Category 3. Virtual workshops feature 12 hours of live / real-time instruction, plus three hours of asynchronous learning.
-
Resources.
Workshop delegates have access to our virtual learning platform, Communities, where they can share resources, ask questions, and connect with fellow educators. Each workshop Community remains open for two-weeks post-workshop to provide continued access to resources.

“ Very good resources, the day ran very smoothly, and the format was clear and schedule was kept to rigidly”
“The presentation was very good throughout and the leader was able to answer all of our questions. I particularly liked the time to talk with some of the other participants in the breakout sessions, it was a great opportunity to network”
