Open to educators from IBSCA member schools, our free Seminar series provides an in-depth look at some of the key topics and challenges facing our IB community.
This Seminar will focus on unpacking the role of the CP Coordinator and assist delegates in developing strategies and approaches to fulfilling the role successfully. The Seminar is open to those who are new to the role of Coordinator or for Coordinators who are looking to refresh key skills.
This Seminar will enable you to:
Gain a full understanding of the role of the Coordinator including key responsibilities.
Explore approaches and strategies to the management of the career-related programme within your school.
Discuss and share advice, tools and resources for successful management of the CP and tips on avoiding common problems.

Led by an experienced IB educator who is part of the IBEN network.
Limited to one registration per IBSCA member school. There are a limited number of spaces available, if sufficient interest is expressed a second date may be opened or additional spaces added.

This seminar will be led by experienced IB educator Martina Hedges. Martina is an independent Lead IBEN Educator having the following various roles, consultant for the DP and CP, workshop leader and site visit lead and team member. Martina was previously the professional development officer for IBSCA. Before working for the IB, Martina was head of the sixth form at a large comprehensive in Liverpool and IB Coordinator for both the CP and DP programmes.
