In-person IB workshops October & November 2022

We are delighted to announce the return of in-person IB authorised professional development workshops from October 2022. For the upcoming academic year, we will offer a combination of in-person and virtual workshop weekends to cater to the varying needs and availability of our membership. Our in-person workshops will take place from the 7th – 9th October 2022; 11th – 13th November 2022; and 16th – 18th June 2023 at the University of Warwick. Virtual workshops will take place from the 25th – 27th November 2022; 14th – 16th April 2023; and 5th – 7th May 2023.

The resumption of in-person workshops affords the opportunity to immerse yourself fully in your training in a focused and collegial environment. You will collaborate with a broad range of IB colleagues during workshop sessions while growing your IB network further through informal conversations during breaks and meals. During your workshop, you will have access to the University of Warwick’s superb facilities which include hotel-style accommodation and catering. Organisation of in-person workshops requires details to be solidified earlier than with virtual workshops. If you are interested in attending an in-person workshop, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.

For IB educators who prefer a virtual environment, we will be continuing with our virtual workshops, which include 12 hours of live instruction plus 3 hours of asynchronous instruction delivered via a combination of our virtual learning platform and Zoom.
