Planning for the future of IB - Virtual Conference

Due to recently announced industrial action affecting rail services in the United Kingdom, our Autumn Conference, Planning for the future of IB, will now be delivered virtually. Registration is open to IB schools wishing to attend. As with our previous virtual events, the registration fee will provide access to all IB educators from your school.


Conference Sessions

Planning for the future of IB will feature presentations and discussions with speakers from across our IB community including colleagues from IBO and IBSCA member schools focusing on key topics important to IB schools. Join us for the following sessions among others:

Assessment

  • TOK – reviewing the first assessment, Bill Roberts, Educational Consultant

    A walk through of IB answers and additional services that can support you in your role within your IB school.

Non-IBSCA Member Schools

£150.00 - Standard rate: registrations after 23 Sept. 2022

Conference Location & Transportation

The conference will be held at Aston University conveniently located in central Birmingham.

Aston Street | Aston University Campus | Birmingham | B4 7ET

By Train: Aston University is located closed to New Street, Moor Street, and Snow Hill train stations. It is approximately a 10 to 15 minute walk from each station or a five minute taxi ride, taxi ranks are available outside each station.

By Car: Located in the heart of Birmingham, Aston University is accessible via major motorways including the M6. Parking is available on Aston University’s campus and be booked directly via its website (see below).

By Air: Birmingham Airport is located nine miles from Aston University and is accessible via a 30 minute taxi journey or a 10 minute train from Birmingham Airport to New Street station.
