Open to educators from IBSCA member schools, our Seminar series provides an in-depth look at some of the key topics and challenges facing our IB community.
For this Seminar, join us to explore how to effectively supervise a non-experimental Extended Essay in the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). The Seminar will focus on how to support research rather than experimental based Extended Essays and is open to DP Science educators with varying experience levels in EE supervision.
This Seminar will enable you to:
Examine and understand how to approach supervising a research-based Extended Essays in the Sciences rather than an experimental EE.
Develop skills to better support your students through the EE process from formulating a research question to writing their EE.
Deepen your understanding of your EE subject requirements and criteria.
Discuss elements of EE supervision you find particularly challenging and gain insights and advice from the Seminar Leader and fellow delegates.
Identify strategies and techniques that can assist you and other members of your department in strengthening your EE provision.

Led by an experienced IB educator who is part of the IBEN network.
Limited to one registration per IBSCA member school. There are a limited number of spaces available, if sufficient interest is expressed a second date may be opened.
