Open to educators from IBSCA member schools, our Seminar series provides an in-depth look at some of the key topics and challenges facing our IB community.
For this Seminar, join us for a detailed examination of the Extended Essay for IBDP World Studies where you can ask questions, share good practice, and receive advice on how to refine your approach to supporting your students.
This Seminar will enable you to:
Gain a better overall understanding of the World Studies EE including: the task, the expectations and the criteria.
Examine examples of both good research questions and weaker research questions.
Discuss elements of EE supervision you find particularly challenging and compare different models from IB schools around the world.
Identify strategies and techniques that can assist you and other members of your department in strengthening your EE provision.

3-hour seminar delivered virtually making access easy and convenient.
Led by an experienced IB educator who is part of the IBEN network.
Limited to one registration per IBSCA member school. There are a limited number of spaces available, if sufficient interest is expressed a second date may be opened.
