For this Seminar, join us for expert insights and top tips for being an effective Extended Essay supervisor. Ideal for those new to supervising the EE or for anyone wishing to refine their approach to supporting students through the EE.
This Seminar will enable you to:
Fully understand the role of the EE supervisor including tips on good practice.
Ask questions regarding approaches to supervising an EE as well as clarify any points on the EE in general.
Develop skills that will grow your confidence and enable you to be an effective EE supervisor.

This seminar will be led by experienced IB educator Joyce Halsey. Joyce has more than twenty years of experience as an IB classroom teacher (English A and Theory of Knowledge), DP and EE Coordinator and Head of Upper School in the UK, Europe, US and Africa. Also an assistant examiner for English A Literature, she brings multiple perspectives on student learning and motivation, as well as overall IB curriculum and assessment knowledge, which enable her to connect with the everyday concerns of DP teachers and students.
