The ESS IA Seminar will be led by Debbe Reilly. Debbe started her teaching career in 1991 in South Africa. She was first introduced to the world of IB in 2002 when she moved to the UK and has been teaching both Biology and ESS ever since. Debbe started marking ESS practical work and exams in 2003 as a way of improving her understanding of the expectations of the course and the assessments. Debbe has been a team leader, and part of the standardisation team for both IA and P2 for man years. For Debbe, being part of the wider ESS community makes teaching ESS such an enjoyable experience.
