For this Seminar, join us for an exploration of different facets of the IBDP Geography syllabus. Open to all teachers of IB Geography. Bring your questions and experience to share with fellow delegates.
This Seminar will enable you to:
Explore various facets of the Geography syllabus to develop your skills in overall delivery of the subject.
Deepen your understanding of the Internal Assessment and Paper 2 to enable you to better support your students with these elements of the syllabus.
Discuss and share resources to help you in the delivery of the Geography syllabus.
Identify strategies and techniques that can assist you and other members of your department in strengthening your overall IA and Paper 2 provision.

3-hour seminar delivered virtually making access easy and convenient.
Led by an experienced IB educator who is part of the IBEN network.
Limited to one registration per IBSCA member school. There are a limited number of spaces available, if sufficient interest is expressed a second date may be opened.

This seminar is led by experienced IB educator, Howard Collison. Having completed an M.Phil. in Environment and Development at Cambridge University, Howard Collison stayed on at Cambridge to complete his PGCE in Geography. He then went on to teach at Repton and Bedford School where he helped set up the DP Geography course. He is presently Head of Geography at Oakham School, a long-established DP school and more recently also offering the MYP. Howard has been a workshop leader for fifteen years and has led workshops for IBSCA, Ibicus, InThinking and the IB. He has also taught on various student geography revision courses.
